What's Up:
My full name is Robert John Toll.  I graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1965. My hobbies include hiking, biking, theatre, the symphony, and reading.  I go to the gym regularly to work out and enjoy traveling.  Life is good and I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful, loving family and a very meaningful and rewarding profession!  I'm retiring at the end of June after 40 years as a United Methodist Minister.  I am starting an Interfaith Spiritual Growth Center in Boulder sometime after July 1,2010.  Our meeting place will be at the Wesley Foundation, directly across the street (east) from Folsom Stadium.  Interfaith worship, interfaith study group, meditation group, fellowship, mission and service projects (to aid those less fortunate than ourselves).  Moved back to the Applewood area recently, although I am still serving a church in Louisville until I retire.

I was saddened to hear of the deaths of so many of our classmates.  Every day is a precious gift from God to be lived fully.  My warmest regards and best wishes to all of you, my dear WRHS classmates.

My Occupation:
After high school I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science in 1969.  I received a Master's of Divinity Degree in 1972 from the Iliff School of Theology.  I received a Doctorate in Christian Ethics in 1984 from the Iliff School of Theology.  I was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 1973.  I have served as a United Methodist parish minister for 30 years.  I served for 4 1/2 years as the Detentions Chaplain at Jefferson County Sheriff's Office offering worship services and spiritual/rehabilitative programs for the inmates in that facility.  I developed an inter-faith Chaplaincy program that received national attention.  I wrote an article in the American Jail Association magazine on "How to Develop an Inter-Faith Chaplaincy Program in a Large Detention Facility" and taught courses at national professional meetings in various cities across the country.  After developing the program at Jeffco, I decided to return to parish ministry and am presently serving as the pastor at St. James United Methodist Church in Central City, Colorado.  This is the oldest Protestant (and Methodist) Church in Colorado, established in 1859.

My Family:
I have one daughter, Kristen, who is 24 years old, and recently graduated with a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  She presently manages a large Spa and Salon in Lafayette, Colorado. I am getting married on September 3, 2005 to a long time friend, Ms. Ann Delmonico.  She is employed as a financial officer at Ball Aerospace Corporation in Boulder, Colorado, where she has worked for 15 years.  She has three children from a previous marriage--ages 22, 17, and 12.  We are in the process of moving in to our new home located in Golden Gate State Park (in the Dory Lakes sub-division) at 1280 High Point Circle, Golden, Colorado. 80403.

Favorite Memories:
I would love to hear from other W.R.H.S. Class of '65 Graduates!
