What's Up:
Life seems to
be busy all of the time! I love traveling, movies, biking, boating,
playing games, hiking, the mountains, and playing with the
grandchildren. Family holds a special part for me and I would
travel far to spend time with them!
My Occupation:
I have been a
homemaker forever, and as the kids have left, I travel to wherever
for visits. I have not quite mastered the cleaning house portion of
my job, but do really well with the entertainment and visiting
part. I also spend time with volunteer work for my church and
teaching is my specialty.My Family:
I have 6
children - 5 sons and 1 daughter. There are 9 grandchildren - 5
girls and 4 boys. It is so great when they are all together, but I
sometimes start swinging from the ceiling! My dear husband, Mike
passed away from cancer 13 years ago and that has been an
adjustment, but we are doing well! Most of the kids live out of
town (wish they were close) and I get much traveling in that way.
It's a good thing that I enjoy it! Family is definitely top on my
list.
Favorite Memories:
I guess my
favorite high school memories are the people. I can just picture
everyone in my mind - I'm sure that nobody has changed at all! Pep
rallies, football and basketball games. Choir was great and the
musical productions hold a special place for me!
