What's Up:

My dream was to someday be able to do what I loved to dabble in as a hobby- knitting, watercolor, and the list goes on!

Being retired, I work at a fiber store where I have pursued my interests in textile fibers. Weaving, spinning, and knitting are my endeavors with the watercolor skills used in color and technique. There are always classes as well as sharing knowledge with each other over projects.

Animals take the rest of the time. I continue to ride horses and it is my goal to have rides with my granddaughters. We live in the mountains very close to open space, so walks with the dogs or rides with friends are options if the weather allows.

I love being a grandma. Life is great!

 My Occupation:

My last 12 years were spent as a pediatric physical Therapist working in a school district with special needs children preschool through 12, preschool evaluations and infant toddler evaluations for the community. Retired 5-2011 after 41 years in many facets of the profession.

 My Family:

Our son and his wife have a 7 year old daughter from China, and our daughter and her husband have a 3 1/2 year daughter. My husband retired in 2013 and so we plan to do a big trip each year

 Favorite Memories:

The musicals with the orchestra practices. The band practices marching in the heat and at the spirit at the football games. Trying to get to the locker and then to class- I still wonder how I remembered the code, and got it to work as the tardy bell hovered over our head.
