What's Up:
I’m happily retired and living in Santa Cruz, California, which has the most
perfect climate in the world. Summer temperatures hover around 70- 75;
winters rarely reach freezing. Travel is at the top of our list. Judy
and I have visited all 50 States, dozens of countries, and almost every
continent together. We love to cook and sampling great food around the
world is our favorite thing.
My Occupation:
For 20 years, I was CEO of an agricultural association in California
before starting our consulting firm. I helped fresh fruit producers
in California and a few overseas clients with issues management,
government relations, trade issues, and marketing. Judy spent her
career in marketing research for a publishing company and in our
consulting business.
My Family:
We have been married for 35 years. Our daughter Jaime is an actor in
New York. My daughter Kimberly works for the University of Alberta
in Edmonton. I have two wonderful grandkids in Canada.
Favorite Memories:
Al Kraning was my best friend at Wheat Ridge. We stayed close when
he was at MIT and I was stationed on the East Coast. We kind of
lost touch until the 50th Wheat Ridge Reunion. It was like no time
had passed since we had last talked. Rest his soul, I still think of
him often. I was only at Wheat Ridge for a little over a year, but I
enjoyed crazy times with an odd assortment of good friends.
