What's Up:
Building an off-the-grid, zero energy home for retirement at 8,200
feet in the mountains west of Ft. Collins. This will be a
demonstration home of many current solar technologies and green
building products. Since I have 40 acres, forestry, fence building,
and furniture making keep me very busy. I enjoy target shooting and
riding my 142 hp Yamaha V-max when time allows. I have three dogs
of varying ages that keep me hopping.
My Occupation:
I have been a licensed certified public accountant in Colorado for
33 years. Most of that time has been in private industry,
specifically health care. Currently, chief financial officer for a
specialty clinic treating only anorexia and bulimia.
My Family:
Twice divorced and once widowed, I have given up on married life. I
have two children from the first marriage. My daughter, Victoria,
is a double-board certified M.D. in pediatrics and adult medicine.
Last year she made me a grandfather. Grandson, Dante, will be one
year old 7-9-07. My son, Luke, is 29, single, and traveling the
world with a backpack after spending 5 years in Japan working as a
translator. Currently, he is in Taiwan.
Favorite Memories:
I loved just being in school. Most of my classmates I have known
since Wilmore-Davis elementary school. We grew up together and have
a thousand stories and memories of those times. Back then,
Jefferson county schools were rated second in the nation and I think
we got a terrific education. I really respect the energy and
dedication that the teachers had in their work.
