What's Up:
Raised in the burbs, Ive been cozily inner-city nested in a hundred year old Capitol Hill home with wife Pat since 1984.   We love the historic neighborhood, eclectic mix of people and proximity to the arts.  A child free marriage leaves time for we culture vultures to soak in nearby art films, theatre, concerts, gallery walks and festivals.  Foreign travel is an educational adventure we savor as are winter visits to our favorite snowbird haven in the mountains of central Mexico, San Miguel de Allende.  I enjoy morning yoga, still jog, am fascinated by the metaphysical realm and love a good conspiracy theory.

My Occupation:
After a BA and MA in Psychology and a stint in personnel, I channeled my analytical nature and intrigue with human behavior into a career as a fee-based, independent Investment Adviser.  As a CFP specializing in retirement since 1980, I present seminars to Denver area employee groups, help clients design a responsible investment program, manage assets and create income strategies for life after work.  With over half my clients already retired, my evolving semi-retirement will be providing ongoing care and feeding to the nest eggs of my full time retirees.  It has been a joy to witness the work-a-day stress melt away for many as their leisure and volunteer dreams are free to unfold.  Done right, retirement can be a perpetual summer vacation with ample allowance and, best of all this time around, NO PARENTAL SUPERVISION!!

My Family:
I celebrated my 21st anniversary with second wife Pat, a Ft Collins native with an artistic and fashion flair.  Pat worked as a graphic designer and corporate art director for many years before following her entrepreneurial bliss by starting and growing Rich Rags for 14 years, a unique women's' clothing store.  Retired now, she is spreading her fine art wings in water color, pastel, ceramics and sculpture.  She's a cat lover supreme and adoption volunteer at the local no-kill shelter.

Favorite Memories:
Reveled in the whole basketball season that lead to the 1963 State Basketball Championship.  As a sophomore, I felt anointed to share gym class with "hoop god" starters: Meincke, Janowski, Alley, Robinson and His Majesty, King Frink.

Remember the Hootenany in the cafeteria Junior year?  Steve (Ramblin' Jack) Binder and Duane (Woody) Arnold were an awesome, if unlikely, folksy duo.  Sleeper Phil Hufford's "Abilene" blew me away!

Hard to trump KIMN's Top School Contest. Can you believe danc'n the night away to the  Moonrakers and Astronauts in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel!
