What's Up:
Moved to Denver 4
years ago after living in Aspen, Colorado for 25 years. Moved to Denver
to marry a wonderful guy after being single for 15 years. During my
years in Aspen I worked in the school district while my children were
growing up. For the last eight years in Aspen I had a fabulous time
being the General Manager's Assistant at the Hotel Jerome. It was a
fascinating job and I met people and celebrities from all over the
world. I loved living in the mountains.
After selling my
home in Aspen I bought a 100 year-old Victorian in the small town of
Palisade, Colorado. I love the weather and the growing season. My
husband and I have been remodeling the home for the past year in
preparation for retirement. We have many friends with vineyards and
orchards in Palisade. We can't wait to join them permanently for fruit
and wine. Only 6 more years left!
My Occupation:
I am currently
working for the Department of Energy in Golden, Colorado. I work in our
Contracts and Business Service division as a procurement specialist. We
are a national lab that works in renewable energy. I have loved
learning something completely new. Renewable energy will be the focus
of the future.
My husband is a manager for RTD Light Rail. I've learned a lot about
trains and the challenges of moving thousands of people through the rush
hours and from events. Newest challenge will be Fast Tracks--but we
hope he's retired by then! Whew!
My Family:
I have three
wonderful children. My oldest is a TV Producer. Her latest show is
"Trading Spouses". My son-in-law in an actor presently staring in the
Discovery Channel show "Darcy Wild Kingdom".
My son is an engineer at Kodak in Windsor, Colorado. They just bought a
beautiful new home in Eaton and are raising the most precious grandbaby
of all!
My youngest finished college and started her teaching career in Colorado
Springs. She is an Art teacher and loves teaching and being with
children.
Favorite Memories:
Slumber parties at
Kathy DeBell's, dancing and more dancing, Pat Frink's State Basketball
Tournament.
