| | What's Up:
I have lived close to Wheat Ridge most of my life. Spent a few
years in California and Salida, Colorado during my first marriage.
My parents who just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, still
live in the house where I grew up. I currently live in Littleton
with my 2nd (and last!) husband whom I met on the tennis court
(something I love to do - when my "old" knees let me).
My Occupation:
Took early retirement from Continental Airlines a few years ago,
after surviving 2 of their bankruptcies, very little pay, and
commuting to Salt Lake City for the last 2 years of employment. Did
earn my life-time flight benefits and we love to travel, especially
to watch tennis events. I work part time for GrandLuxe Rail
Journeys, a luxury train that tours the US and Canada.
My Family:
I have 2 children, 5 step-children and 2 beautiful grandchildren who
live close enough to spoil. My daughter and her husband (parents
of Ella, age 4 and Sam, soon to be 2) are both teachers in Jeffco
Public Schools. My husband, Jim, works for Bell Plumbing and
Heating and is looking forward to retirement within a few years. We
spend time with family, fishing on our houseboat at Lake Powell,
playing Bridge and traveling whenever possible.
Favorite Memories:
Time spent cruising on a Friday night between the Scotchman on
Wadsworth and the White Spot on Colfax. Football & basketball
games, sneaking a smoke in the parking lot (thank God I don't do
that any more!), slumber parties, TPing the wrong house on a snowy
winter night and getting caught when the unhappy owners followed our
foot-prints back to my house.
