What's Up:
After graduating
from Wheat Ridge High and Colorado State University, l spent three
years in the Army as a medical service corps officer, serving a tour
in Viet Nam. I later obtained a Masters Degree in Health
Administration from Washington University School of Medicine, and
spent over twenty years as a hospital executive with regional
medical centers in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Minnesota, then served
as Director of Operations for a large charity in Minnesota. After
retiring to Montrose, Colorado to paint, I did some consulting with
Region 10, a struggling non-profit council of governments for six
counties. After helping the organization get back on its feet, I
assumed a full-time position as Executive Director of Region 10. I
am looking forward to retiring again in a few years to again return
to painting.
