What's Up:
I enjoy bicycling & golfing with my husband. Also, I enjoy yoga, water aerobics & gardening. I love art & color.
My Occupation:
I am a fine artist & graphic designer. Lately I have been involved with color coordination for home interiors & commissioned paintings.
My Family:
My husband, Jim, & I recently celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary. We met on a blind date when I was a junior at CU & he was a 1st classman at the Air Force Academy. Then Jim went on his way to Southeast Asia for 15 months.
When he returned he said, "Marry me & I'll show you the world." Well, we married & the first place he was stationed was Ruston, LA -- a wet, humid, cockroach infested place. I was glad when we moved from this part of the world to Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This is where our son, Kevin, was born in 1973.
In June of 1977 Jim decided to get out of the Air Force & we ended up in Southern CA with him involved in defense contracting. Although I'm still a Colorado person at heart, I must admit that CA climate is unbeatable. We're settled in & really enjoy the lifestyle although it is crazy & hectic at times.
Like his grandfather, Kevin has found his niche in the car business - he is the used car buyer for a Newport Beach Mercedes dealer & is passionate about old cars. As a matter of fact, he is the proud owner of my red Falcon convertible!
Favorite Memories:
I have such wonderful memories of high school. Some of my favorites are Homecoming bonfires, poster parties, Farmers Barns, Mr. Wetherbee's dry sense of humor & toilet papering the homes of many friends. Of course, just hanging out & laughing with classmates is a top priority, too.
