We are becoming old timers in the SCA, a worldwide organization
recreating the time period from 500 to 1600AD. I drive my horses and
chariot and enjoy all the knightly games including soft jousting and
archery. I have gotten back into writing, we enjoy SCUBA diving, and
becoming women’s leader in our church continually stretches me
physically, emotionally and spiritually.
My Occupation:
I was blessed with numerous opportunities for fulfilling work
experiences. The most memorable were, working on a survey crew in
the high mountains of northern New Mexico, a career as an instrument
flight instructor becoming rated as an airline transport pilot, and
volunteer flying search and rescue missions for the Civil Air Patrol
in New Mexico and Utah.
My Family:
Mike and I married in 1988. We homeschooled our daughters. Michelle
(25) is married, graduated with a BS in Information Technology and
is a programmer for FamilySearch.org. Elise (20) is beginning her
sophomore year of college after an 18 month church mission.
Favorite Memories:
Football games, pep rallies, poster parties, Homecoming and our
jocks knitting sweaters in class.
